About
My journey into healing began at age 15 after a soccer injury sparked a deep desire to help others heal. This passion led me to earn a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which I applied throughout my career, including opening a private practice in Maui in 2016. However, as I worked with clients, I felt a pull to explore healing beyond the physical body. This calling led me to study holistic modalities that address the interconnectedness of the mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
I expanded my training into Reiki, energy work, emotional release, the mind-body connection, mindfulness, and yoga, all of which deepened my understanding of healing on multiple levels. Today, through Soulful Healing with Amanda Eller, I offer a unique blend of these practices to help clients release emotional blocks, realign their energy, and restore balance to their lives.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I began offering online healing sessions, allowing me to extend my reach and provide support for mental, emotional, and spiritual discomfort worldwide. With certifications in Mind-Body Therapy, 850+ hours of yoga teacher training, and Usui Reiki Master training, I’ve created a grounded, integrative approach that promotes deep healing and resilience.
In May 2019, my life took an unexpected and profound turn during what was supposed to be a short hike in the Makawao Forest on Maui. What began as a casual walk quickly turned into a 17-day survival journey that tested me in every possible way—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Alone in the wilderness with limited food and water, I faced the raw forces of nature and my own inner struggles.
This experience was both the most challenging and the most rewarding of my life. Those 17 days cracked me open to a deeper reality—the interconnectedness of all living things. In that vast solitude, I felt an undeniable connection to the world around me and, most importantly, to my inner self. It was in this space of surrender and survival that I came to understand the true nature of healing—not just as physical recovery, but as a journey of self-discovery, connection, and inner knowing.
By the time I was rescued, I had not only survived but had been transformed. My time in the wilderness taught me that real healing comes from aligning with the essence of who we are, from connecting deeply with ourselves and the world around us. This experience has become a cornerstone of my work at Soulful Healing, where I guide others to reconnect with their own inner strength and find healing through that same sense of interconnectedness.
